DE's Business Lab: The value of orthodontic support

Oct. 19, 2022
Do you offer clear aligners? An orthodontist should oversee treatment for the best outcomes. Candid offers these services under the direction of their new chief dental officer, Dr. Brian Gray.

Dr. Brian Gray was recently appointed the new chief dental officer of Candid. The company shifted their direct-to-consumer services in clear aligners to offering support directly to dentists who want to offer clear aligners. I recently sat down with Dr. Gray to discuss how this affects our profession.

We agreed that all treatment should be provided at the standard of care for that specialty, including orthodontics. Candid has certified orthodontists who oversee every case to make sure cases are proceeding as they should be. Knowing that someone has your back is a game changer, especially for dentists just getting started in orthodontics.

Dr. Gray explains why he joined Candid and how the company stands above other clear aligner companies. He said Candid offers videos and webinars for those who are interested in getting started, and part of his job is to build out the education Candid offers.
