What products are you excited about right now?

CAD/CAM technology and digital scanning! As a dental educator, I recognize the importance of integrating technology and education. At the University of Colorado, we pair the scanner with cutting-edge engineering discrepancy software and use it to help students understand how their wax-ups compare to ideal anatomy. Students are able to scan wax-ups themselves and overlay to the original dentiform arch to see where their tooth is overcontoured, undercontoured, or missing prominent anatomy. I love what I do, and this is a great example of how beautiful and nuanced today’s dental education is!
