Polaroid Corporation introduces its new Intraoral Dental Photography Kit, offering dentists an affordable method of obtaining instant, sharp, macro images of often difficult-to-photograph teeth.
Polaroid`s Intraoral Dental Kit includes mirror attachments for Polaroid Macro instant cameras, designed specifically for health-care professionals, the Macro 5 SLR and Macro 3 SLR. The mirrors include the palatal, which allows the dentist to view the upper or lower palate; the buccal, providing a lateral view of the teeth; and the occlusal for biting surfaces.
Both intra- and extraoral photography provide dentists with a convenient and accurate method of recording oral-surgery procedures, documenting results through "before and after" photos and communicating with laboratories for matching color of enamel prosthetics.
