- The toothpaste is safe for everyday use and contains fluoride, baking soda and peroxide. In addition, the toothpaste contains zinc citrate for inhibiting the formation of tartar.
- In a consumer self-awareness test, Mentadent Advanced Whitening users observed an improvement in the whiteness of their teeth in two weeks. After two months, consumers reported between a one- and three-shade increase in whiteness.
- As with the original Mentadent toothpaste, the product is packaged in a dual-chamber pump. The pump keeps the peroxide gel separate from the baking soda paste until released together onto the brush.
