Discus Dental introduces its new desensitizing gel, RELIEF™. This soothing mint-flavored gel is a blend of potassium nitrate (5%) and fluoride (.240%) that helps to prevent tooth decay and quickly and effectively reduces the pain of sensitive teeth often associated with thermal changes, tooth-whitening, acids, sweets and/or direct contact.

For maximum patient convenience and immediate or long-term comfort from sensitivity, RELIEF™ provides a choice of two easy delivery systems. Patients may use their whitening tray to apply the viscous gel directly onto the teeth for maximum coverage and extended wear-time. A second option is to use a standard, soft-bristle toothbrush and brush for at least one minute, twice a day. The gel is individually packaged in convenient 20 g. tubes (enough gel for approximately 20 applications). Volume discounts are available.
