Digital Imaging Fiber-Optic Trans-Illumination is a diagnostic imaging instrument that uses light, not X-ray, to detect early coronal tooth decay. With DIFOTI, dentists can safely and reliably detect carious lesions, decay near restorations, and fractures and cracks that cannot be detected with radiographic imaging (film or digital).
