Sirona announces the availability of CEREC Scan, an entry-level model for indirect working, serving as an ideal starting point for dentists who want to adapt the CEREC computer restoration concept into their practices.
The CEREC Scan system is based on the recently introduced CEREC 3 milling unit, which has been extended to include a laser scanner. Instead of an intraoral camera providing an optical impression, a laser scans a conventional model fixed in the milling unit and transfers the data to a PC for design using new user-friendly, Windows-based software.
For more information about the CEREC Scan or other CEREC family products, contact Patterson Dental at (800) 873-7683.
