This new attachment allows the user to remove the worn-out bearings without moving the impeller blades on high-speed-handpiece turbines, where balancing may be an issue. By using the bearing-removal tool, the impeller is never moved on the spindle, thus not affecting the balancing done by the original manufacturer. Typically, balancing is only a noticeable issue on larger, high-torque turbines.
