Ideas for your own Web site

I have written many articles and lectured to a number of groups on the subject of designing and marketing a Web site for your dental practice.

I have written many articles and lectured to a number of groups on the subject of designing and marketing a Web site for your dental practice. One of the most important steps in the design and production of a Web page is to go out there into cyberspace and see what others in your field have up and running. So, with that in mind, I offer the list at right of a number of individual dentists' Web sites that I feel are among the best out there.

Before I offend dentists who have great Web sites, but who are not in this listing, let me state that these sites are merely a representation of many excellent sites for dentists. This listing is only meant to provide information and ideas to those who have not yet designed their own Web page.

Note: Some of these sites are designed using flash graphics or Active X programming (movable messages). Others use more simple programming.

You may ask: "Who designs these Web sites?" Again, there are too many people out there to list. I will mention a few of the sites that do a lot of work for dentists. Contact any of these companies or try to find someone locally who does a lot of Web-site design work for dental practitioners. Always ask to see samples before making any decisions.
