Welch Allyn recently introduced a transillumination attachment for use with its DenLite hand-held illuminated dental mirror. The Transilluminator is fitted easily into the tip of the DenLite handpiece in place of the disposable mirror head. The bright, tightly-focused light output from the Transilluminator can be placed directly on a tooth to illuminate it for cracks and caries.
